“Life is like a book with many different chapters,
Some tell of tragedy and others of triumph.
Some chapters are dull and ordinary, others intense and exciting.
The key to being a success in life is to never stop on a difficult page,
To never quit on a tough chapter.
Champions have the courage to keep turning the pages
Because they know a Better chapter lies ahead.” Author unknown
A friend of mine who is a writer once told me, the best way to write a book is to first chose the end of your story, because when you have a clear vision of what you want, it is much easier to get there, write the different chapters and progress accordingly in your story.
In life it is not necessary to analyze and explain all the details of the paths and decisions we took yesterday to move ahead and decide in which direction to head today. Life is as fluid as a river. It flows and guides us with an incredible power, where ever we are – even if we did not swim in the right direction or swam away from our destination.
It is not our mistakes but the judgments we make about our acts and thoughts such as “I’ll never get there”, “I am not where I want to be” or “I spoiled it, I will never make it” that prevent us from seeing other possibilities. Every cross road offers new paths, a set of brand new options. You always can change the course of the story when you start writing a new chapter of your book. This is liberating way to look at situations, don’t you agree?
So the question is what story do you want to write?
How will you use the previous chapters of your life book to write the followings ones and turn it into a great story?
I hope I’ll have a chance to read your story once!
